There will be a 3-day festival called "the great irish famine event" because of 150th anniversary of the irish famine. it starts on june 1st and features artists like bob dylan (is he now irish? ;-)) van morrison and the chieftains. there are rumors that sinead will appear there too.

The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles just announced their upcoming concert schedule for spring and summer. And on the list for August 16 is Pretenders and Sinead O'Connor! It says that you can order advance tickets starting on Sunday, August 23 if you buy a subscription. The Greek Theatre phone number is (213) 480-7575.

MORE LIVE II

There is a picture of Sinead with lots of hair and wearing eye glasses. Her hair appears to be shoulder lenghth.

Then it reads: Her fans might not recognize her, but Sinead O'Connor went to Paris last week to get hair extensions. The notoriously bald soprano is now sporting waist-length tresses for her video being shot in London with Kris Kristofferson. Apparently even O'Connor realized that bald women and country videos don't jibe. O'Connor has been out of the public eye for some time babying her second child.
