Sinead signed for Sony/Columbia

It's now for sure; for the US-releases Sinead has signed for Sony/Columbia records. Columbia will even re-release the Gospel Oak EP after EMI released a 4 track, a 6 track, a 6+1 track, a japanese 5 track, a 6 track + video and a UK 12" version of the 4 track, a cd promo 1 track, a cd-promo 4 track, etc etc... all of these were made and released in several countries, so cokllector's who really collect it all must have over 40 different version (thank god I don't collect that way)

Sinead interviewed by El Pais

A Spanish magazine/newspaper interviewed Sinead before her appearance at David Letterman's tv show. Some of the interesting things she mentioned in this interview are that she has recorded a song for Wim Wender's next movie- "The End Of Violence". It's called "I'm Not Your Baby." Wenders wanted her to write a song and then for Bono to write another. Then he had the idea that they should do it together. But it's very unclear what's going to happen because now it turns out that U2 want to keep the song to use it as a B-Side on one of their singles.

Another interesting detail is that she recorded a song with Nusrat Fatch Ali Khan, sadly she doesn't mention on which album it will appear.

During this interview she tells a lot more about herself (past, present and future), and IMHO it's one of the best interviews she did. , with Lucy O'Brien, which is also very interesting is still available.) All thanx to Ana Ramos for translating the spanish version of this El Pais interview.
