Value Of Ignorance video available
The video "Value Of Ignorance" which was long time not available anymore, seems to be available again. Several (online-)stores are selling it again. One of the places to get it is www.cdnow.com . Sadder news for a lot of people, it's only available on NTSC video. Which doesn't normally play in Europe and more countries that use different signal types like PAL or SECAM.

New release on DVD; Sessions on 54th
A DVD got released with Sinead on it, entitled The Best Of Sessions At West 54th.
Her contribution is "The Last Day Of Our Acquaintance" -- live, of
course. Unfortunately, the sound encoding on DVD's cannot be accessed with CD
players, but since this new format is going to be the juggernaut of the future, those of
us without DVD players may want to consider getting this video while available
anyway.

No Chiquitita in the USA
So far there are no plans for release of this particular version of Across The Bridge of Hope - however the Fund are planning an alternate US version of a similar project. No idea if Sinead's song will appear on this version. So you have to find the Across album through import if you want it.

Allstar article on new album
Dave Stewart Waxes Ecstatic Over Sinead O'Connor.
Sinead O'Connor is hard at work in a London recording studio on her first full-length
album for Atlantic Records, and if the enthusiasm of producer Dave Stewart is any
indication, it should be a hell of a lot better that 1994's Universal Mother.
"We're just finishing up five tracks for her new album which sounds absolutely
fantastic," says Stewart. "We're just mixing the last two and then we're gonna
stop for Christmas. Her voice sounds amazing -- more powerful than ever."
Stewart has also co-written one song with O'Connor for the album, due next September on
Atlantic. That song, entitled "Bad Girl," is reportedly extremely catchy by a
source who has heard the demo.
O'Connor's new album will be the first full-length release under the worldwide, long-term
contract she signed with Atlantic earlier this year.
